Celebrating a Milestone of Faith: Ordination of Pastor Patricia Montero

Los Angeles, CA – June 6, 2025 – The International Multi-Faith Coalition (IMFC) is overjoyed to share the remarkable celebration of faith, unity, and divine calling that took place at the Latin University of Theology. On this blessed day, we witnessed the official ordination of Reverend Patricia Montero as Pastor of the Christian Episcopal Church "La Misericordia de Dios," a moment that will forever resonate within our global community of over 5,000 members.

A Sacred Ceremony of Ordination and Welcome

Under the hallowed arches of the Latin University of Theology, the air was filled with reverence and joy as Pastor Patricia Montero was ordained, having fulfilled all academic and ministerial training requirements with exemplary dedication. The ceremony, officiated by General Bishop Guillermo A. Ahumada, President of the IMFC and Bishop of the Christian Episcopal Church, marked not only her ordination but also her heartfelt welcome into the IMFC family. 

Pastor Montero now assumes the sacred duties and responsibilities of her ecclesiastical office, committing to a mission of faithfulness, integrity, and unwavering devotion to her flock. The General Board of the Church, in accordance with its statutes and principles, proudly endorsed this ordination, recognizing her as a beacon of hope and compassion.

Accolades and Recognition from the IMFC

During the ceremony, Pastor Montero was honored with multiple accolades, including a Certificate of Pastoral Ordination and a Certificate of Recognition from the IMFC. With deep admiration, General Bishop Ahumada congratulated her on her divine calling, praising her words of faith, excellence, and Christian devotion. In his address, he warmly welcomed her as a valued member of our coalition, emphasizing our shared commitment to unity and the cherished freedom of religion that guides our mission.
